One positive note on healthcare reform


I have to admit, again, to not liking politics. I haven’t kept up with all the facets of the healthcare reform as admittedly again I care more about the IT perspective (perhaps shame on me.) But I’m just going to make an observation that of all the reform “stuff” going on I believe that the IT perspective was fairly and appropriately represented in the process.  I’ve watched the process and though we do have more reviewing and bargaining and decisions to come there has been a significant amount of industry involvement.  As a general practice healthcare IT is becoming much more vocal than in the past.
